BAILEYS HARBOR (December 10, 2003) Isadoora Theatre Company is pleased to announce the cast for "Side by Side by Sondheim", a musical revue featuring the songs of Stephen Sondheim. Performances are February 13-16 at the Ephraim Village Town Hall, Ephraim, and February 20-22 at Third Avenue Playhouse, Sturgeon Bay.

The cast consists of Ann K. Barnard, Christine Callsen, Mary Hall, Ben Meyer, Lori Meyer, Andrew Olson, Sheila Sabrey-Saperstein, and Katie Schnorr, as vocalists and Merv Massey as narrator. Musical director is Craig L. Little and choreography is by Jane Hillstrom. The production team is rounded out by Kathy Little, pianist, rehearsal accompanist and secretary, Roger Kuhns, technical director, Bruce Newburn, percussionist, and Mary Brown, props mistress and assistant stage manager.

Stephen Sondheim is today's most influential living Broadway musical composer and lyricist. He has created musicals, such as, "A Little Night Music", "Company", "Gypsy", "West Side Story", "Sweeney Todd", "Follies", "Pacific Overtures", "Passion" and others. He has nearly single handedly revolutionized the American musical theatre genre. He has been called the "best lyric writer of our time; the most adventurous composer of musicals; and the most considerable musical dramatist."

The fast moving revue includes favorites "Comedy Tonight", "Send in the Clowns", and "Broadway Baby". The company will perform songs from the show on Wisconsin Public Radio's "Higher Ground with Jonathan Overby" from 7-9 pm on Saturday, January 17, 2004 in front of a live audience and 200,000 listeners.

"One of Sondheim's favorite themes is relationships in and around marriage," says Ben Meyer, the company's artistic director. "Our company knew this would be the perfect show to enjoy around Valentine's Day. Every member of the audience will find themselves laughing as they relate to the songs."

"Isadoora continues to grow," says Andrew Olson, president. "We are amazed and appreciative of the talent Craig and Kathy Little bring to this show. They are sharing their years of experience in musical theatre in the Chicago area with the cast."

Most recently, Isadoora Theatre Company performed "English Zoo Flies", "The Fantasticks", "Living Up to Memorial Day", and "Lone Star" and "Laundry and Bourbon." Upcoming performances include "An Evening with Isadoora" at the Unitarian Church in Sister Bay on February 7 and "Sexual Perversity in Chicago" scheduled for May.
