Auditionees can come either night and should be prepared to be there for a couple hours.
Be prepared to do cold readings from the script, sing a short song (bring sheet music, accompanist provided), and dance. Wear appropriate dance attire.
Rehearsals will start shortly after the show has been cast (end of August). Cast members should be able and willing to dedicate up to five evenings per week for rehearsal, especially a few weeks prior to the show.
Performances will be:
February 15th-18th & 22nd-25th, 2007 at Door Community Auditorium
Shows Thurs., Fri. & Sat. at 7:30 PM & Sun. at 2:00 PM

A meek chorus girl who dreams of being a starring act. Has an affair & kills her lover.

Roxie's unsuspecting husband.

Matron of the Cook County Jail.

VELMA KELLY |
Another murderess. Sensual, flashy.

BILLY FLYNN |
The flashy, wheeler-dealer lawyer who gets Roxy out of jail.

MARY SUNSHINE |
A goody-goody gossip columnist. Originally written for a counter tenor in drag, although it is sometimes played by a woman.
