Now in our Tenth Season!

Ben Meyer, Andrew Olson, Jane Hillstrom, and Sheila Sabrey-Saperstein founded Isadoora Theatre Company in 2002 with high hopes of becoming Door County’s finest community theatre ensemble; a company where anyone from the community could produce, direct, act, or support quality theatrical productions that wouldn't otherwise have been done, or that weren't traditionally accessible to amateurs.

From humble beginnings as a group of friends reading through scripts, Isadoora Theatre has presented works by playwrights such as David Ives, James McLure, Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, Edward Albee, Stephen Sondheim, Tennessee Williams, David Mamet, Larry Shue, and Christopher Durang; producing deeply emotional shows such as Wit, to the darker side of human nature with Assassins, and large-scale productions like Chicago.  

Isadoora is proud to be a community theater mainstay and hopes our audiences will always expect high-quality shows that challenge ideas as well as entertain.

We thank everyone who has donated their time and talents, and those who have supported us through this adventure.  Here's to another ten years!

Isadoora Theatre company is proud to announce its Tenth Anniversary Season of productions for 2011-2012. Opening with the World Premiere production of Scott Kopischke's Eclipse of the Soul in October, followed by the Groove Lily musical Striking 12 in February 2012, and concluding with Circle Mirror Transformation in May 2012.

We express our deep appreciation to our hosts, Third Avenue Playhouse and Ephraim Village Hall; to our benefactors and advertisers; and most of all, our patrons, without whom we’d never be able to bring community theater to Door County. Thank you for your support!
